Woodware - Artemio Template Teasers

This week at Woodware our DT members were all given a different Artemio template to use.
I got this one - the hexagonal mini album

These versatile templates can be used for making little mini albums or used as a layout guide on a scrapbook page. I am last to post this week and I have been impressed with the great projects the other girls have come up with. Jane turned her template into a fantastic floral hat to wear at Ascot..!! Check it out on the Woodware blog.
I am afraid I wasn't quite so adventurous. I was give the hexagonal mini album template. I made a little floral friendship booklet.

Front of folded booklet.

I cut my booklet from white card and sponged lightly with 2 or 3 shades of blue ink. I then stamped all over with a Magenta stamp "Shadow branch" in a soft blue. The template allows you to cut out all the matting layers.

Booklet opened out.
I used a couple of Artemio flower and foliage clear stamp sets to create the six panels. To create a soft look I used Tombow brush pens on the stamps and spritzed with water. Each hexagon was then layered onto a gold matt. A few punched butterflies and pearls finish off this piece.

The friendship quote is from Stampendous, one that I have used many times. To give this as a little gift I made a box from white card and sponged and stamped it in the same way as the booklet background.

I have used stamping but it is a perfect size for little wallet size photos. You could make these albums into perfect keepsakes to give after a Wedding or Christening. Quick and easy to make!!
Hope you all have a good weekend.
