Woodware DT - Sketch Challenge

This week we have another sketch challenge. This is open for you to join in until the end of February. Remember there is a gift voucher as a prize for the winner.

    I recently bought a lovely new Stampendous stamp called "Rose Corset" from The Stamp Man. Their prices for Stampendous are really good. I have been keen to try it out and it fitted this challenge perfectly.

The rose background was made using a Dreamweaver background stencil that was embossed through my cuttlebug then colour applied through the stencil with a soft stencil brush.
The flower was created by punching out about 8 flowers of two different sizes from text paper. I sponged some colour on them. Once layered together I spritzed some mica spray over it to give it a lovely shimmer. I added an organza ribbon bow, some punched leaf sprigs and a pearly hat pin. 

A piece of ivory lace adds to the vintage feel. I love this corset stamp and just know it's one I will use lots...!!
