Sorry folks, I am a few days late with this post. Between being ill and trying to prepare for Christmas, I have not been at my best foe a few weeks now. But I wanted to make something for the Stamp Man challenge. Sue challenged us to make something using a technique we have not used before. While looking through November's Craft Stamper (yes ... that's how far behind I am ...!!), I came across an article from Jo Capper-Sandon. It was called Crinkled Ink. Basically she shows how to make textured backgrounds with ink and a scrunched up plastic bag. It really is very effective.
I used Adirondack inks - Willow, Citrus, Lettuce and Shell Pink and then black. Basically you scrunch up the thin plastic then dab the ink onto your white card. Start off with the lightest colour then end with the black.
For full instructions you will find Jo's article in the November issue of The Craft Stamper on page 16.

All these products are available from The Stamp Man . To see all the other wonderful techniques the team has come up with, check out the Stamp Man Challenge blog
