Creative Expressions - Voice of Art # 4

Here is my final piece for this month's featured Studio 490 set "The Voice of Art" for Creative Expressions. I went a bit genteel with this one.

I stamped the lady in grey then masked her to over stamp with the ledger image.

And I layered up with soft aqua and satin card stock. The border is a Spellbinder  Borderability called "Lattice" .

The sentiment is from another Wendy Vecchi set called "Dimensional Rose Art". All these sets are ideal to mix and match as they all work so well together.
To finish off I added some flowers, pearls and a swirl.
Next week we start working with a new set of stamps, so better start thinking about that soon!!
I had great plans this weekend to get loads done as my husband was away. But you know what they say about the best laid plans.......!! So here we are on Sunday evening and nothing much to show for it!! However my daughter Catriona came home yesterday so we had a nice evening together. And this morning we took the dogs for a walk on the beach at Tentsmuir. She is always looking for driving practise as her test is coming up soon. So it was a good excuse to take the boys somewhere a bit more exciting than the park!

Alfie had a great time.

About 20 minutes later the heavens opened and it was torrential rain!! Just as well we went early!!
Back to work tomorrow so I am away to iron my uniforms.
Hope you have a good week.
