Woodware DT - Turquoise and Brown

I am last to post this week for Woodware. There have been some great samples this week so be sure to stop by and have a peek. I have been thinking about our holiday to Harris in June. I am really looking forward to it. The sea in the Outer Hebrides is just so clear and  turquoise blue. If it wasn't for the wind you could almost believe you are in the Caribbean. So this inspired me to try out these new Stampendous stamps.

These are all from the new 2012 catalogue.

The background was made by stamping the shells onto a soft aqua paper. I used a second generation print to keep it softer.

At the base of the tag I used Golden Sand embossing powder to give a beach effect. I used shrink plastic to make my cut little sea shell embellishments.

I even found a bit of abalone shell in my stash so punched 3 circles with a hole puncher to add as an accent. And the By the Sea tag is also on shrink plastic.
Hope you have a good weekend. I am looking forward to some peace to craft guilt free as hubby is away on a lad's weekend to Ayr!!
