Anyway here it is - and my colour is green.
- Start off by blending 2 or 3 shades of green dye ink onto a 13.5 cm square of white card using Cut'n'Dry foam.
- I then did the negative resist or water stamping using Versamark on a music background stamp and spritzing with water. I am sure you are all sick to death of this technique by now. But when in a hurry....stick to a tried and tested formula...!!!
- I stamped the beautiful Stampendous Wise Men CRR095 with Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy (this has a lovely shimmer which you can't see in the photos.
- Add a few snowflakes and the sentiment (from a Woodware set by Jane Gill JGCL551 Christmas Verses
Very simple but I actually quite like the green. It makes a nice change from the usual Christmas colours.
Be sure to check out the Woodware blog to see what colours the other girls have chosen for their projects.
I could never tire of seeing this fabulous technique Siobhan - I do so love what you have done with this stamp - i bought a used one earlier in the year and have not played with it yet at all!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely card, Siobahn - and I love the background. Don't apologise for something that always looks pretty cool, lol. Love Pearlescent Ivy, too - one of my faves, along with crimson x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as always Siobhan, you're far too critical of your own designs. Hugs x
