Creative Expressions - Bella Rose # 3

For this week's project using the Heartfelt Creations Bella Rose  and matching dies. I have gone a bit grungy!! I covered a square of white card stock with some of the new Tim Holtz tissue. Then using a mask of the clock from That Special Touch sprayed with a couple shades of green Cosmic Shimmer mists.
I then used brush markers on the rose stamps and die cut them. After die-cutting the swirly leaf I inked it up with versamark and embossed with a Cosmic Shimmer powder (copper metallic).

I quite like the texture on the leaf...not very spring like I know but in the craft room it could be any time of the year for all the notice I take of what's going on outside!!

A few pearls and a sentiment finish off the card. I bought a pile of these masks at the Glasgow show. I think they will get well used!!

  1. The background is stunning and the roses are gorgeous! I know what you mean about not noticing the season when crafting! I often find three hours have passed and I thought it was about half an hour!

  2. This is gorgeous! I love the colour combination xxx

  3. Stunning, the greens in the background are gorgeous and the flourish is beautiful. Love the sentiment. I think we crafters are all alike, tucked away in our craft rooms it could be any time of the year. Elizabeth x

  4. fab flourish Siobhan :)lainey x

  5. Hi Siobhan, thanks for your comment after I left mine earlier with you. I obviously didn't make it clear that it was last September I was lined up to go to the retreat until my husband took ill. He is now much recovered and we've just been discussing the possibility of me booking for September this year - fingers crossed :) Elizabeth x

  6. Great card Siobhan, I love the background and the sentiment is brilliant with the clock mask.

  7. This is stunning Siobhan. I love the background and the colours are fabulous.
    xxx Hazel.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate them.
Siobhan x
