Woodware DT - Good Luck

This week we have been asked to make Good Luck cards. I don't seem to have anything specifically for "Good Luck" so I have improvised. I have been having a little play with the new Stampendous Frantage powders. I love them as they add interesting textures and colours to just about any project.
The Stampendous Bird Frame CRP126 is a stamp I love because of it's versatility. I have used it for Engagements, Anniversary, general birthdays and now "Good Luck in your new home" I thought it would make a nice card for a young couple setting up home together.

This was so easy. I blended three colours of dye ink onto a square of cardstock, then stamped the flourish from the Jumbo Hollyhocks CRS 5031 set all the way round. I layered onto black card. You can't really see the black because of the powders but it does give a nice edge effect.
I sprinkled on some of the Frantage powders (Aged Gold, Aged Taupe and Aged Silver) around the edges then heated from underneath.

The words were computer generated and printed onto kraft card. I found a little key in my embellishment box and a few black nail heads to complete.
Check out the Woodware blog to see what the others ladies have been up to.

  12. Obviously, I was over-thinking the "good luck" challenge, and assuming it meant St. Patrick's day (because we yanks are obsessed with that holiday, whether any of us are Irish or not). I LOVE your card! How creative to make it a housewarming card! Wonderful Frantaging on this as well!
