Creative Expressions - The Voice of Art # 2

For this week my project for Creative Expressions ended up as a tag. It didn't start as a tag and it nearly ended up in the bin!!! It was one of those evenings!!!
So this weeks project is a tag....

For the background I used the floral border from another Wendy Vecchi set LCS018  "It's More Flower Art" along the bottom stamped and embossed in gold.
The rest is pretty much self explanatory. The lady was stamped with coffee archival and cut out.

The rose was made using Tim Holtz Glassine paper. If you haven't tried this yet I urge you to get some. It makes great flowers and other die-cuts. What I like best is the crisp feel to it. Tim Holtz does some cooI thinks with it on his blog. I die-cut some six petal flowers and stamped the background script from the LCS084 "The Voice of Art". I embossed the flowers with gold powder then made up the rose.

Add a couple of swirls and it's done!!
Wishing you all a Happy Easter. Is it to early to open the wine...!!!

  5. Really lovely tag. Gorgeous background (as ever!) and love the flower. I haven't made a good one of those yet and looks like I need to get some of that glassine paper!
