I sponged a little back drop of mountains and field. I stamped the sheep in black onto the scene and also onto a piece of white card. The two sheep are a little Magenta stamp 37.216 Sheepish Pair. I applied a glue pen (Zig) to the sheep on the white card and covered with flock. If you press down with the back of a spoon, you will get better coverage with the flock. One dry I cut out the sheep's bodies and stuck onto the scene with foam pads.
I then cut a strip of Kraft card and punched with the ribbon crafty edger. I sponged some brown ink on top to create the little fence. The sentiment I typed on the computer and cut out. The buttons came from a pack of Coffee and Cream buttons and the foliage is a punch called Ash Branch.

Such a wonderful card, I love how you used the edger and the sheep are adorable. Sheep are definitely popular here in Yorkshire :)
ReplyDeleteLooks brilliant. I have some fun flock and it would work great with the sheep stamps I have, so thanks for that x
ReplyDeleteHi Siobhan,
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card. I love the background and the sheep are really "cuddly". Gorgeous work.
Hugs,

Great background Siobhan, love love the sheep and the flck is perfect, great texture. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteLovely your flock of sheep - sorry, couldn't resist that :) They remind me of the sheep you see on cards in the Lake District - they love them there too. I have yellow and blue crushed velvet but I've not seen white flock so far - it would be great for trimming Santa's hat - and his beard would look terrific given the flock treatment so will be on the lookout for it. Lovely sponged background and the embossed backing is gorgeous. BTW, after living there for 2 years, I left my heart in Ireland - it's just the most delightful place. Elizabeth x
ReplyDeleteI love your backgrounds, mine are always messy when I try this.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card yet again. Have posted my flock cards on my blog. Still haven't been in crafting. Speak soon. Liz x
